Description

Printable baby schedules are a lifesaver in the newborn stages!

I wrote down the schedules we were using with our daughter, along with any observations on a little notepad.

When it came time for a schedule change, I had the task and challenge of going through and deciphering my notes. I could hardly read these notes, yet all of the clues to exactly how my daughter’s schedule needed to be changed were wrapped up in these observations I’d written down.

When I finally had a moment to step back, I created these printable baby schedules as a solution and way to organize this valuable information.

There are a few ways you can use these printable baby schedules.

First of all, the printable baby schedules include a ton of information:

This printable baby schedule is based off of the book “On Becoming Babywise”.

And, while it is based off of that book, these schedules are the adjusted versions that worked for us.

The printable baby schedule contains tracking sheets for the following ages:

  • Newborn 1-2 weeks
  • Newborn 3-4 weeks
  • Month 2
  • Month 3
  • Month 4
  • Month 5
  • Month 6

On each schedule page, you’ll find:

  • The recommended schedule for each specific age
  • Ideal length and number of naps
  • The appropriate amount of wake time for the age
  • Main focus for each age
  • How many middle of the night feedings to expect

Each page has a place to record your adjusted schedule (based on your particular needs). It also has a place to make notes about how well your baby ate, how the awake time was, and how baby slept.

There is a place to record pee diapers, poop diapers, # of naps, total daytime sleep, the # of middle of the night wakings, total night sleep, and any final observations.

The guide contains a brief explanation of how to use the tracking sheet, along with a full page of additional online resources. These online resources can be found at www.mamasorganizedchaos.com and more detailed information about each baby schedule can also be found at that location.

This is a digital file (PDF file) and you’ll be able to print as many of these sheets as you need! Each page is formatted for a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.

How I would recommend using these printable baby schedules:

Print 7 copies of the age you are at. So if your baby is 2 months old, print 7 copies of the 2 month old schedule (one for each day of the week).

Print them on cardstock, so they are nice and durable and will last as long as you need them.

Then, either laminate the baby tracking sheets, or place them in a sheet cover.

You can then write on the schedule sheets with dry erase marker.

At the end of the week, take a picture just for reference (in case you need to look back at the week). Erase them and use them again!

Of course, you do whatever works for you, but this is the paper saving option!
